I am extremely excited about my new teaching position at the Dekalb Early College Academy. I am the Biology
Professor, a position that I could not have dreamed up. Biology is a subject that is multifaceted and fast-paced
which makes it very exciting to teach and learn. I have the pleasure of working with students that are focused on
their present goals and excited about their futures of recieving a college degree along with a high
school diploma. DECA's supportive faculty, staff, parents, and students make it a joy to teach each day.
The Dekalb Early College Academy has elected me as the Teacher of the Year. I am truly honored by this recognition.
Along with the legacy class at DECA, I share the priviledge and responsibility of being the first to hold this position.
I look forward to participating in the many events and representing the school in the best way possible.
